Why sizing advice matters more in Concord than most places
Concord has an unusual housing profile for a city of its size. A large share of the stock through the South End, the North End, East Concord and Penacook predates drywall entirely, which means plaster over wood lath, board sheathing, and dimensional lumber that is genuinely dimensional. All of it is dense. A twenty yard container filled with plaster and lath will reach its weight allowance while the walls still look two thirds empty.
Meanwhile the newer construction that filled in around Broken Ground, the Heights and out toward Sheep Davis Road produces exactly the opposite problem. Drywall, engineered lumber, vinyl and packaging are bulky and light, and a customer who orders a fifteen yard for that work ends up paying for a second delivery they did not need.

How much does it cost to rent a dumpster in Concord, NH?
Cost depends on the container size and what is going in it, but every quote we give is a single flat rate covering delivery, a seven-day rental, pickup, and a tonnage allowance. Heavy material like concrete is priced differently to household debris because it is processed differently. Call with the project details and you will get a real number rather than a range.
Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Concord?
Not on your own driveway or private property. If the only workable location is on a public street or sidewalk, you need an encroachment permit from City of Concord Engineering Services at City Hall on Green Street. Applications must be submitted at least four days before the work date and approvals can take up to seven business days, so plan ahead.
How quickly can you deliver a dumpster?
Same-day delivery is often available within Concord when you call before mid-morning. Next business day is the norm everywhere else in our service area. The outer towns like Henniker, Weare and Northfield generally want a day's notice.
Will a dumpster damage my driveway?

What can't go in the dumpster?
Liquid paint, solvents, oils, fuel, batteries, propane cylinders, tyres, refrigerants, asbestos and anything hazardous. Appliances with refrigerant and electronics need separate handling, and mattresses carry a per-item fee we will quote up front. The Concord Transfer Station accepts several of these items directly.
Do you serve towns outside Concord?
Yes. Penacook, Bow, Hopkinton, Boscawen, Canterbury, Loudon, Pembroke, Allenstown, Chichester, Epsom, Dunbarton, Hooksett, Northfield, Henniker and Weare are all inside our regular radius, and there is a travel component built into the quote up front rather than added later.
Can I load the dumpster above the top of the walls?
No. Anything above the fill line cannot legally be transported on a New Hampshire road, and we would have to ask you to remove it before we could haul. Load through the rear swing door where you can and keep the material level.
